RedPlanet
RedPlanet is a new wordpress theme, that we created based on a design by Free CSS Templates.
Here is a small screenshot.
Its features include
- Supports the sidebar widgets plugin.
- Includes archive.php and search.php, so that it clearly differentiates if you are looking at an archive view or a search results page.
- If a page has sub-pages, they are listed at the bottom of the page.
- Supports posts that span across multiple pages.
- Clear style definitions for ‘ordered-list’, ‘un-ordered list’, ‘blockquote’ etc

the site title and the post titles seem to be all turning into lower case.
yes it is by design.
look for “lowercase” in the style.css and you would see where it is being transformed to a lowercase. you can remove that line in the style.css if you want.
This theme is so simple to customize, functions superbly and is flat-out stunning. My husband is using it on his new blog and I may switch to it myself.

is there any safe way to move the banner image in the header upwards and eliminate the little about button?
Love this theme, but on a small or even average screen, with a text-heavy blog, you have to scroll down too far to get to the posts.
I’ve tried moving it myself but I keep knocking the rounded corners out of alignment and in terms of the “about,” can’t find it to delete it.

Hey, is there a way to put an external link where the links for pages go (top right line)?
Sam, try opening up the header.php file and add your new links just after the call to wp_list_pages. take a back up of that before doing any edit.

Mast I display the words “Design by FreeCssTemplate” on every page, on the start page oder on the imprint?
Hi - We’re using this theme and love it.
One problem we’re having is that the first character of text on the left side gets cut off…. Take a look at our blog and you’ll see what i mean. Any ideas how to fix this?

Update to previous post - it seems to appear fine on IE7 - but in IE6 the left side gets cut off……
Love the theme, I’ve got it on my new blog but I’d like my sidebar to stay consistent from the main home page to my single post pages. (ie. my subscription, store and links area disappear on the single post pages)
I tried removing this from the sidebar and I get a parse error. Can you suggest something?

This is a great theme, and very elegant with it.
Is there a simple way that I can stop the sidebar and the top nav tabs from sorting themselves into alphabetical order?
I’m trying to use ShiftThis Order Pages plug in to arrange the pages in the left to right order I’d prefer, but they keep wriggling back to alphabetical!

The Left side gets cut off in IE6, appears to be fine in Firefox. Any suggestions on how to resolve this.
I would also like the Top Nav Bar to stop the alphabetical sort.
